Fun at lunch

Rei_tote_lunch

My very first lunch tote! (yes, lets pretend that I always wanted one) I ordered one today and will test put it to it`s test when it arrives in the post in a couple of weeks. The name "Built Spicy Relish Lunch Tote"I ordered the one named "scatter dot" (picture) from a website I have never ordered from or even heard of; http://www.rei.com. (so who knows if it even gets here) Price: $29.95 ($50.95 after shipping and who knows what duties, taxes and fees come to)

The goal: making it more fun to pack healthy snack instead of stopping at the nearest gas station for food.

Product Features:

  • Extra-roomy lunch tote insulates up to four hours (time varies depending on external temperatures)
  • Tested for lead safety—no vinyl or PVC used
  • Removable shoulder strap included (detach before washing)
  • Interior pocket
  • Soft-grip handles
  • Zip closure
  • Stain resistant - Machine Wash Cold - Drip Dry

My what?

P342

I have been stopped on the streets abroad for many reasons and with the weirdest questions but stopped for blood? That's a new one!

My response; you want my what? Blood? Anne's response: trust me you don't want our blood after the week we have been through! But kind of a cool concept with a mobile blood bank?

Irony completed

Ever heard of willpower? I haven't. I'm having the best coffe mocca that I have ever had from Caribou with chocolate beans after a meal at Taco Bell while reading a diet and fitness magazine. Irony at it's core?

On vacation I try to stay away from business magazines and "how to" books that always are about performing better and being better. 13 fashion and lifestyle-magazines are perfect for changing focus of work.

Waiting for my flight to Miami. A little anxious about how hot it actually is... But can't wait to meet my friends there. It's game night so hopefully the right team has won so they are in the right party mood for tonight:)

Just add...

Many people have asked me what I have in my smoothie. Here`s the answer:

Goji berries
Cacao Nibs Organic
Pomegranate powder
Hemp protein powder
Calcium/magnesium
Oil-blend (Udo`s choice)
Detox blend with herbs
Spirulina powder
Grass blend powder
Apple stabilizer powder
Lecithin

Anything else I could add? I avoid vitamin c powder as the acid could destroy the other ingredients. Aloe Vera as well. The taste just overpowers everything else.

Chicken sandwich 2

P75

Again an easy healthy chicken sandwich. Everyone knows spinach is healthy and using fresh leaves in a blender is a good way to get big amounts of it into your cooking. I always blend it with pesto to give it a better taste.

Blend: spinach, pesto and skyr. (skyr is higher on protein then other dairy products)

Buy a organic spicy blend. I used a peperoni blend. And then mix on brown bread as you like with salad and cucumber.

The rolls-royce of juicing!

Everybody who knows me, knows that when it comes to food; I like mashing it up. (I just started off baby food. No, not joking, it`s the fastest meal in the micro ever)

Ever since I saw this machine on Martha Stewart a couple of years ago, I have wanted one badly. Do they sell them in Norway? Of Course not! Is there anybody who would like to carry one through customs for me or carry it on an airplane. Of Course not, nor do I dear to ask. And buying one online would add 40% on the price. (Norwegian government doesn`t want us to but stuff abroad) So yes, Americans, this item I truly envy you for having.

Why queen of home cooking loves it:

I just have a regular food processor but will not be embarrassed dragging the Breville Juicer through the airport and then deceivingly going on green at customs. (a joke of course!!)
