Yes, I´m on the search for a kick ass programmer and not just that but a technical co-founder! 

The deadline for taking the incubator´s code test is late Monday 6.february so think fast to get on the start-up roller-coaster.

According to this article I´m not the only one who is on the look for great tech talent. It´s one of an entrepreneurs biggest challenges to find a good team! I want to partner up instead of "do my own thing" and I´m looking for someone who also think it´s the future of collaboration. 

So what can I put on the table? Being in one of the top incubators in San Francisco for three months, being a part of a unique community of Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and last but not least create a social media video tool that will change the way people connect in a collaboration with people from around the world. (as a web-developer the most important thing is skills and determination and not where you are based) 

Qualifications: experience on solving technical challenges with video streaming. (skype, online tv, video chat etc) The code test for the incubator can only be done by one person and takes 2,5 hours.

Five days at Dr.Holms Hotel in Geilo is like balsam for the soul. Except when your with hyper energetic fabulous girls like these. Me and Anette also celebrated having spent two NYE together. (yes there is a reason for celebrating everything:) And the scenery could not be more different. From sun and beach in Playa Del Carmen in 2009 to snowy Geilo in 2012. But we proved to have fun wherever we are! Happy New Years sweetie and here´s for 2012!!

Yes, I was in London in July (see travel tag) but this is a new trip to London. (can you ever get to many trips to London?) And of course I booked my hotel so that I could stay next to the Light of India. How many times do you think I got the chance to eat there all though the restaurant was INSIDE the hotel? One! Meaning some extremely hectic days but manageable when it´s all social and good times.

Walking into the Royal Courts of Justice when they have decorated it for the masquerade ball is breathtaking. The venue for an event like this could not be better! Here are some moments from the night. A shame to leave out the fun parts;) Thanks to everyone who I got to share this evening/night with. Nothing like kickstarting a London trip with a gallery opening. I was so happy when Philipe Levine invited me to the private viewing of the Other Art Fair at the Bargehouse at Oxo tower. 3 floors with some amazing artist and Philips head is just as fascinating as you would think! (and yes I got to touch it:) Check out his website http://www.headism.co.uk/ to se more of his work. Thanks Philip for a unique experience! 

Of the other artists I also liked Patric StPaul and Dan Hillier. The dead rabbit picture was the reason I dropped my iPhone down at the stone floor and the little thing broke into pieces! Yes, a dead rabbit is enough to startle me. (and I was holding a glas of white wine in the other hand witch made it hard to catch it. You know I love white wine!) My schedule in London was so crazy that I didn´t stand a chance having time to buy a new one before Paris. I found my way to the Apple store at the Louvre and 700€ poorer I´m now happy with the new 4S!

I dag fikk jeg som mange andre Get kunder brev i posten som sier "Nå får du Get Superbredbånd". Jøss, så hyggelig. Men i praksis er det rett og slett en prisøkning på bredbåndet ditt! Det vil si de øker også hastigheten for denne hyggelige oppgraderingen i tilegg, men alt i alt så automatiserer Get en økning i pris på mange tusen kunder uten at du har bestilt en oppgradering! Og så har de i tilegg nerver til å sende deg brev i posten som det er en "gladnyhet". Brevet lyder videre:  "På din faktura fra 1.desember 2011 vil du se et nytt navn og ny pris på ditt bredbånds-abonnement". 

Det kan godt være at 359,- som er den nye prisen i motsetning til nåværende på 299,- er rimelig for 10Mbits hastighet. Men hvorfor ikke heller sende et tilbud der man kan oppgradere med å få mer hastighet mot og også betale mer? Dette er ikke et tilbud men et automatisk kjøp av et høyere abennoment. Svar: man sparer kroner på alle de kundeselgerene man må ansette for å ringe til eksisterende kunder å spørre "hei det er Get, kunne du tenke deg dobbel hastighet på din bredbåndslinje mot å kun betale 60 kr ekstra i måneden"?. 

(Desverre er ikke dette noe unikt. Chess.no lager nye rimelige telefon abonnementer men endret navn på dem slik at hvis man som eksisterende kunde ikke går aktivt inn å sjekket så har man plutselig et dyrere abennoment enn nye kunder! Så det kan godt være man tror man har en rimelig leverandør som med Chess men så har abonnementet man har i dag utgått på dato bare Chess.no ikke informerer om det.) 

Hvis man av prinsipp vil skifte abonnement og ikke betale mer i måneden som man fult ut kan gjøre og ikke betale mer enn i dag så må man ned i hastighet! (Og hvem vil ned i hastighet?) Prisen jeg og flere andre har betalt på 299,- i flere år er forsvunnet som alternativ allerede fra nettsiden. 

Get øker også tv-kabel abennomentet med å si "fra 1.januar 2012, justeres prisen til 329,-" men uten å si hva den opprinnelig prisen var! Altså vet man ikke om det betyr økning eller at det blir rimeligere. Evt hvor mye økning det er snakk om. Overskriften inneholder kun ordet "prisjustering", altså ikke "prisøkning" og prisjustering sier lite om man ikke vet hva det justeres fra!  

Get og sosiale medier

Det beste er derimot at hvis man er glad i sosiale medier så bør man velge pakke nummer to (S10) som om man ikke kan være på sosiale medier med pakke nummer en. Men hvis man er glad i Facebook derimot så bør man nok ta pakke nummer tre! (M20). En undervurdering av forbrukers intellegens? Hva har Facebook og sosiale medier med netthastigheten å gjøre? (youtube kanskje men til og med youtube filmer krever lite av hastighet) 

Ja det er få ting som irriterer meg så mye som dette! En ting er prinsippene over hvor sleipt det er. Men hovedgrunnen er at det er kunden som må ta jobben med å endre sitt abonnement hvis de faktisk ikke ønsker en prisøkning per måned på bredbåndet sitt. Og hvor mange kommer til å gjøre det? (spesielt ikke når man mister hastighet) Svært få! Altså hvis Get har 100.000 bredbåndskunder og de automatisererer økningen per måned som de gjør nå med 60,- som blir 720,- i året så vil det si at Get tjener 72 millioner kroner ekstra. Men jippi vi får mer hastighet men betaler faktisk for det også! 

Gjett hvor man derimot ikke kan kontakte Get sin kundeservice? Facebook! Get er nemelig ikke tilgjengelig på Facebook selv. Og hva skjer med misfornøyde kunder som blir frustrert over at man ikke finner dem på Facebook? Jo man blir bare mer irritert, og blogger i stedenfor!

Almonds are great nuts for your health. Why not make the ultimate omega3 puree?

This is an easy low-carb dinner. Puree: blend almonds and avocado with olive oil. Fry carrots, asparges and salamon.

You could also make a spinach puree with fresh spinach, cream fraiche/yoghurt an other greens you find. (I love to throw in ruccola). Save some cream fraiche to blend in the frying pan so the oils from the fish and vegetables blend in.
