Watch and learn

10 minutes on YouTube is a lot I know, but trust me this one it`s worth seeing when it comes to learning how easily we are to influence.

Love the red wine that has won 5 gold medals and the hydroponically grown potatoes!!

What can we all learn from this?:) Btw sound is not to good so turn up the volume.

Can it be abused?

Profile
First of all I love that you now can convert profiles to pages. I think it`s the biggest Facebook news in 2011!

But let`s face it. Getting friends is much more easier than getting fans. So is it just me or is it now easy to take advantage of this new service?

I see two ways this could be abused:

1. People continue starting personal profiles for their business and call the profile the business name even though they know it`s illegal. Only to convert them and get an easy way many likes.

2. If you have your own business like me, you can start a personal profile with your real name and start adding friends. When  you got many you can convert it to a page and the people who thought they where friends with you, now suddenly "like" your business without ever approving getting "commercial".

Do you think people will take advantage of the new service?

Delete your BranchOut on Facebook now

Branchout_

BranchOut conclusion; it`s spam!

Okay so the application has good intentions. Connecting people on Facebook for business reasons and making a professional network on Facebook. The idea is genius but the methods are ridiculous.

First of all: the invitation comes directly on your wall. Why? Because that`s the only way you are able to invite friends. What in the world are they thinking? But I gave the application a fair chance and have now had it for a few months.

What have I gotten out of it? Nothing! And I´m one of the highest ranked people in my network according to BranchOut. I have the best starting-point but it still does nothing for me.

The whole application relies on points. So if you want to see who want`s to work with you. (and of course you do) you have to earn points. And how do you earn points? You have to vote on other people so the chances rises to BranchOut to get more activity. The app in itself is all about creating traffic for BranchOut and not about being useful for us as users. Probably the biggest mistake you can make in social media when launching a new product.

And to top this off, they keep spamming me with e-mails week after week saying that it`s been a while since I used the application. I clicked unsubscribe to the e-mail but they still keep coming.

Therefor I'm now deleting BranchOut and encourage you to do the same until they change their wall and point system. We should take a stand with big applications who uses sneaky methods for gaining activity. As long as you keep the app, BranchOut can use the statistics on how many users they got even though you don`t use the app.

If you agree, please share this post.

Facebook sensors

Carrzkiss_11-20-21-aug-17-2010_nikki_sixx_wallpaper_by_wildroxx
Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx is censored my Facebook after posting what an outtake from his upcoming photography book/memoir. He wanted to give fans something that wouldn't be in the book.

Facebook started deleting the photos and the debate is no on for in which cases Facebook should sensor naked pictures or if they should at all.

Sixx said "I looked around Facebook and I see half-naked teenagers, and stuff way worse than my stuff".

NRK the biggest TV station in Norway interviewed me about it where I said that it would be problematic if Facebook where to define what is art and what is not. Read the article here! (in Norwegian)

I have personally seen pictures of a child birth on Facebook with all that comes whit it. Some would say it's the most beautiful thing you could share. Some would say that all the blood and slime is just grotesk.

So my opinion is that Facebook should focus on what`s illegal. And personally if find businesses that are exploiting the disaster in Japan with getting likes is something that Facebook rather should get there hands into than naked art.

What`s your take on it?

Banana - Chocolat milk

P25

The flavor that has been requested on Facebook for ages is finally here! Banana split milk! (www.litago.no) And the verdict: it's good! I can't actually taste the chocolate, it' overpowered by the banana flovor but still not as much of a banana tast that it makes you sick.

Will I buy this instead of regular chocolate milk? No! But for those who have long been waiting for the banana split taste I'm sure they will be happy.

Twins get away with speeding

Twins

You just got to love when twins pull this stuff. One of these twins from Norway have been speeding but the police can`t figure out who so they get away with a 450 dollar ticket. The twin that where speeding got caught in a photo booth but the twins can`t "remember" who actually drove the car as they both had access to the same car and was in the same city at the time. The police can`t tell from the picture who it is so they both get off. What do you think about twins endless possibilities about getting away with stuff? (I could use a twin!!)

The rolls-royce of juicing!

Everybody who knows me, knows that when it comes to food; I like mashing it up. (I just started off baby food. No, not joking, it`s the fastest meal in the micro ever)

Ever since I saw this machine on Martha Stewart a couple of years ago, I have wanted one badly. Do they sell them in Norway? Of Course not! Is there anybody who would like to carry one through customs for me or carry it on an airplane. Of Course not, nor do I dear to ask. And buying one online would add 40% on the price. (Norwegian government doesn`t want us to but stuff abroad) So yes, Americans, this item I truly envy you for having.

Why queen of home cooking loves it:

I just have a regular food processor but will not be embarrassed dragging the Breville Juicer through the airport and then deceivingly going on green at customs. (a joke of course!!)

Yes I had to have one!

The problem is that once you have one, you just want another one and you have to choose between going on a summer vacation or having a Herve Leger dress. The reasonable me chose the dress. (who has a summer job for me??) What`s your favorit in the celeb gallery? Mine is Lindsay`s.

Herveleger2
Here`s mine from BCBG.

Here is the newest from Herve Leger. Rhianna in a Herve bathing suit on a photo shoot with Annie Leibovitz!
